They have painted the exterior of our historic landmark home (3 stories lots of details) and based upon how great they were to work with we just brought them back to paint the entire 2nd floor interior. They are a dream contractor. 1. Straight forward communication and accurate bidding 2. Amazing staff - seriously EVERY person on their crew is a perfectionist, friendly, helpful and super skilled. They are happy to discuss a suggestion, fix a concern, un-tape a closed room so you can get the file you forgot, etc. One of there crew even consulted with me on the fine points of espresso machine repair while getting ready for the day. 3. Quality work - they were as obsessive as I am about historic color choice, sampling colors to get it right, minute details of trim, railings, and rafter tails. They also were knowledgable and helpful when we requested eco-friendly products be used. The work was close to perfect and they urged us to look carefully after the job was finished to catch punch list items we had not caught on the final walk through. There were very few - but they happily came back and made them perfect. 4. On time and on budget. We have worked with many contractors and have never had anyone hit the exact schedule and budget on large and complex jobs so exactly. 5. Top quality workmanship, perfect project management, attention to every detail minimal disruption of your home and spotless clean-up everyday, on time and on budget. What you save in no hassle time and lasting quality is huge. Strange but true: At the end of both jobs our family was actually sad to see them go because their crew was so friendly and the work so good. My wife actually said, we need to think about re-painting the kitchen so we can have them back soon. I have got to say, at the end of any job where your house is put in disarray, to be sad it is over is a testament to great customer service. We will use Sundeleaf again and strongly recommend them to anyone who wants real quality and a perfect job.

I hired Sundeleaf to paint my small hallway bathroom. They were easy to work with and responsive in their communication before, during and after completing the work. Although I felt their quoted price was fair but on the higher side, they made up for it with the quality of painting, professionalism of painter and completing the job in a through manner. The painter who came, was careful with preparing, removing, and re-installing towel bars, shower curtains and mirrors. The job was completed on time, on price and with quality. Highly Recommended!

My husband and I hired Sundeleaf Painting to paint the exterior of our home. We were initially impressed by the quick call back we received and the knowledge and experience expressed during our initial consultation. We are now equally impressed by the work performed. The painters were just as detailed with the prep work as they were with the painting. Our house is 10 years old and needed attention so prep work was vital. When it came time for the actual painting, we had mapped a detailed list of what colors we wanted painted where and they paid attention to every detail. And when one minor area was misinterpreted, they had no problem repainting it for us. (We are talking about the base of the porch pillars - a very small piece of the project.) The house looks fantastic and we can appreciate it so much more knowing that the work will last longer because of all the preperation done before any paint was actually applied. Overall we are so pleased with how easy Sundeleaf is to work with and the high quality work that they do. (I want to note that I am extremely detail oriented and can be a tough critic!)

This is the third time we have hired Sundeleaf Painting to paint the exterior of our home. (They have also painted the interior.) We have always been pleased with the job they do. However, the job performed this summer is exceptional! It began with power-washing the house---a process that took all day. Our home is a three-story house, and it was cleaned from top to bottom. Due to bad weather, additional prep work was delayed for a couple of weeks. Then the painters, Hugo and Herberto, reported to the site and spent two whole days prepping the house for paint. They were thorough and meticulous about the preparation. Once they started painting the quality of their work was exceptional. They applied a heavy, even coat of paint---the best we have ever received. Each day they would inform us as to what they hoped to accomplish that day. As with any job, there were adjustments in the plans, which were no fault of their own. They would tell us when they were done at the end of the day and let us know when they would be here the next day. During the day if we had questions or wanted to make a comment, they were friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasure to have them scurrying around the outside of the house. In addition, Don Sundeleaf, the owner of the company, checked on the workers and the progress of the job regularly. We have the philosophy that when a company performs a quality job for you, that you remain loyal to that company. Sundeleaf estimated a couple of days to paint our condo, but due to really unforgiving lighting and our choice of wall color (a very deep, midnight blue), one particular wall was troublesome. Rather than giving up, the Sundeleaf crew stuck with the job for an entire month! We really appreciated their dedication, their commitment to stand by their quoted estimate, and in the end our walls look fantastic. We'd happy recommend them to our friends and family, and will call them again when we need something else painted.

I used Sundeleaf Painting for the first time this past month. We were exceptionally pleased with the quick response (within 24 hrs) to receive an email from Chris, and we had a bid within a few days after the site was visited. We have an old house that had many cracks in a plaster ceiling, was well as trim that all needed sanding, priming, and oil based paint. The lead painter on our job, Gary, was great. He somehow did the ceiling so we did not need to re-plaster, and the trim looks fantastic. Courteous, clean, well mannered painters. My husband is a very harsh critic as well because not only is he a general contractor, his father was a painter! High recommend.

Whenever someone needs a painter, my husband and I see it as an opportunity to recommend Sundeleaf Painting. Sundeleaf has done a variety of jobs for us over the years -- interior painting, exterior painting; woodwork, walls; you name it—and the work is always excellent. Because we work at home, we especially appreciate the effort made by Sundeleaf workers to be as quiet and unobtrusive as possible. Also, as is often the case with older homes, a paint job often comes with other fixes that need to take place. Every contractor recommended by Sundeleaf for such fixes has provided work of the utmost quality, from paint removal services to new storm windows to stucco fixes. In short, we never have to worry with Sundeleaf—we know our project is in good hands when we hire them.

Sundeleaf was the subcontractor selected by the general contractor on a kitchen renovation so I can't take the credit for finding them. The main focus of the job was the painting of customized cabinets and woodwork, in some cases woodwork from 1911. The result was spectacular - it so far exceeded my expectations but given their meticulous prep work, I probably shouldn't have been so surprised. The kitchen was such a resounding success that it made the dining and living rooms look old and weary so that my only option was to have them paint these two rooms as well, a job which included a box beam ceiling, indoor window shutters and radiators. Once again their prep work was truly amazing as was the finished product. The team assigned to both jobs was Jin An and Rick Moore and I can't stress enough what a great team they are: fastidious, meticulous and exacting, in addition to being such nice and pleasant guys. I miss having them around. Sundeleaf is the only professional painting contractor with whom I've had any personal experience but I can't imagine taking my business elsewhere. In fact, I'm contemplating another project which will involve painting and I wouldn't consider any other company, or team, for the job. I regret I don't have photos at this time because of backsplash tile work that has yet to be finished, but once photos become available, I will definitely post them.
