Sylvester and his team are true professionals. Our place turned out amazing. They restored our 1920s upper duplex into a stunning modern apartment.

Our project was a kitchen cabinet restoration. 40 year old oak cabinets that had to have the old, worn finish removed and then restrained and varnished. Sylvester suggested that we could retouch or completely refinish the cabinets and did a samples of both. My wife chose the complete refinish. The Zen Deco people did a fantastic job. They were at my place for 3 weeks. They did some of the work outdoors (drawers and doors) and some indoors (cabinet structure). They left my home and driveway completely clean each evening. Before Zen Déco, we had someone in-house referred to us to redo the ceiling. It turned out to be more complicated since the design on the ceiling was actually wallpaper and adding a layer of primer made the wallpaper come apart. The "painter" never gave us a follow up date to continue the work and left us hanging, very much like the wallpaper dangling from our ceiling. We came across Zen Déco and reached out to ask if they can help us with our very sad looking ceiling. Sylvester got in touch with us and after a few exchanges, asked if he could come to the premises to inspect in person. We gladly accepted and were relieved when he said that he could take the job on. He was honest about there being some delays due to their schedule but it was worth waiting. Ultimately, Sylvester and the Zen Déco team were able to help us sooner than anticipated and the quick turnaround time was very appreciated given the fact that it was on such short notice. They were also very careful with the equipment that was in the workplace and made sure that everything was cleared and tidy at the end of each day. Sylvester gave us a clear timeline for the work needed, any additional materials required (paint, primer) and ensured that the overall paint job was done professionally. The finished look is way better than before and gave the workplace a more professional feel which also boosted our staff's morale. We cannot thank them enough for the hard work that they've done. If ever we are in need of redecorating, we will definitely contact them again. :)

Zen Deco did a great job. They consulted with me on every aspect of the job, from paint samples and finishes to scheduling. They were very respectful at being in the house and not disruptive at all. The work was flawless and I am very happy with the entire paint and wallpaper project.

We had Zen Deco repaint the interior of a house we recently purchased (hadn't been painted in 20 years) and were extremely pleased with the results. Sylvester had excellent recommendations on paint choices and repairs to be done to the walls and woodwork, and everything was completed with attention to detail. Communication was very easy. They had to do a lot of extra work to get our walls and doors in shape to be painted, and they also did a good job cleaning after the job was completed. Sylvester came back after a few weeks and did a few touch-ups himself w/o additional charge. If you want to hire an expert focused on quality and detail, you should work with Zen Deco.

Zen Deco team did a great job painting all the walls, ceiling, wood beams, wood doors and trims of our 1st floor. The team works with precision, which can take a bit more time and is a bit pricier, but the results worth it! We have some painting coming off some doors and they confirmed they would come back for touch ups for free. Very professional and dedicated. I highly recommend them if you have the budget and want great results.
