“I had two roof leaks near the bathroom and atrium skylights. The first was a nail or screw hole that had been causing the leak (that leak was simple to fix). The second leak was due to a previous job by another roofer not laying the roofing material correctly. Steve redid the roofing material around the 7 foot skylight by lifting and redoing the surrounding area around it.......No more leaks! His response time was excellent and he showed me photos of BEFORE and AFTER repairs. His fees are very reasonable....and a very personable person to work with!”

“I had a totally exceptional experience with Alex Perez's Roofing! It started with a competitive, detailed bid. After Alex walked through the details of his plan for a variety of roof repairs and updates needed for my concrete tile roof, I felt confident about his solutions. He also explained some potential downsides from competitor bids. The team was friendly, courteous and efficient. I spent time with them on the roof. They explained everything they were doing and showing me in real time while they were working. It really helped me understand (and see) exactly what they were doing. Alex and his team were great communicators throughout the entire process. The quality of their work is outstanding! I absolutely intend to bring them back in a few years for a roof check-up and will confidently refer them to neighbors, friends and family in the area!”

“Helen W. Alameda, August 2016 I am very satisfied with the work SRS did for me. I lived in another house for 30 years, I had two roofs installed and they lasted approximately 15 years each. This is the first time I used SRS at my current residence and I have a feeling this roof may last twice as long as the last ones. The previous roofers were in and out in about a couple of weeks more or less. I really didn’t know what was going on then except that the new roof looked good. I paid for a new roof and that is what I got. The SRS job took longer to finish, but it seems I got more value for what I spent with their detailing. They did extra work tearing off additional layers of roofing, they completed extensive dry rot and carpentry work at the roof perimeter that was needed and installed extra flashings to prolong the life of some adjacent beams. The thing that separates SRS from the previous roofers is that Kasra, the owner of SRS, would explain everything to me daily on his job. He worked side by side with the roofers to insure everything was done correctly. He would regularly point out areas of concern on my roof. I could take care of it now, do it myself, hire them to do it or just catch it later. He also stated the pros and cons of delaying the work. My feeling is this is my house and I want to know how and when to take care of it. The best suggestion he made was to install a skylight in the garage and a sun tunnel in the darkest area of the house. In hindsight, I should have gotten these two items done years ago and now I cannot live without having free solar lighting. If you want a roofer who can explain everything to you when necessary then Sustainable Roofing Solutions is who you want for your next roofing job.”

They did a really great job under the worst possible conditions, and they always showed up, did what they said they'd do, and charged what they said they'd charge! I was so lucky that they came recommended to me, so I wanted to pass on the favor!”

“I got an estimate from Westco after reading some good reviews about them. They did a great job on the estimate, and after some detailed analysis of the roof they determined that I did not need to replace the roof. Their opinion was that I just needed some repairs in certain specific areas to prevent the water leak problem my tenants were experiencing. The cost of the repairs were reasonable, so we accepted their bid. The work was done on time, and with minimal hassle. It has been almost three years since the work has been done, and there have been no problems with water leaks from the roof since the roof repairs. I got estimates from two other roofing companies. They barely looked at the roof and gave me an estimate for a completely new roof. The cost to replace was much, much higher than the repair cost from Westco, and it would have been unnecessary.”
