“I recently moved house, to a new area I am not familiar with, and wanted some help with window furnishings. Closs & Hamblin contacted by phone initially and asked me about my project, they arranged for a lady to come out to measure, and bring a variety of fabric samples. Julie was really helpful, and spent time listening to my ideas, then measured the windows, and advised on both poles and curtain headings. She then helped me choose the right fabric to go with my sofa, and talked through how the order would be made and fitted. I was then sent a quote, which I accepted. The curtains were hand made and delivered by a fitter, who installed the poles, and hung the curtains - again a seamless process. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, they were really friendly, listened to my requirements, kept me informed all the way through my order and delivered everything on time.”

“Melissa Hutcheson's blinds have made the world of difference to my bedrooms: finally, no more street light seeping in at night! I have two very different sized windows in my master bedroom, but Melissa found a way to unite them with her blinds. I get so many compliments on the choice of fabric, too. Melissa made choosing entirely painless, by not drowning me in samples, and quickly understanding my tastes (despite the house being only partially furnished and undecorated at the time of her first visit). I would warmly recommend Melissa's services.”

“I am very happy with my installation that wows whoever comes to my house. I stumbled across Grants on Instagram and contacted them for blinds for my extension and lounge. I was contacted by Gaius who used photos from past projects and sketches relating to my drawings, they quickly made me realise the potential and what could be done with my house. The process from quote to installed blinds was also very good. I was impressed by the installer and his commitment and preciseness of his work to get the perfect end result. So much so I have already had my stairway window done and am looking at getting the bedrooms done as well. A big thank you to Gaius and the Grants team, keep up the good work!”

“Sacha made 2 Roman blinds for my bedroom. She came to visit me with a very large choice of fabrics and to measure for each blind. Ordering was easy and Sacha kept me informed of when the blinds would be ready. The finished products are beautiful, very well made and fit perfectly. I am extremely happy with the service I received and the finished product. I certainly won't hesitate in asking her to make more blinds in the future.”

“Pret A Vivre have been outstanding from start to finish. Laura at the Fulham branch helped us hone down our ideas from the endless curtain styles and fabrics available. She could not have been more helpful and insightful and we feel like we got expert advice and just the right curtains for us. The lead time was as expected and fitting was equally impressive. The fitter turned up on time, was professional but friendly and fitting was quick and to an excellent standard. They really do look fantastic. You pay for quality and these curtains were not cheap but we genuinely feel like it is value for money. We have more windows to dress and will be using Pret A Vivre for all of them. Recommended.”

The service was perfect from start to finish - the advice on the type of blinds and the measuring service and the final installation - were all carried out to the highest standard! We were so delighted with the final outcome, we have now ordered new curtains for other rooms in our home! And so far, the service has once again been absolutely tops! “This is a small local business where every effort was made to help find the right fabric and style for the right location. The staff were very helpful in helping my daughter to choose blinnds for the children's rooms and lounge curtains with Design Room providing good advice and lots of fabric books to choose from. Previously I have had used them for other rooms in my sons' house as well as my own. The finished products have always been excellent and completed to a high standard. I am already planning to use them for the next room we are about to redecorate.”
