Hallways can often present a design problem. If you have kids running through them, you don't really want to hang anything that could get knocked off.
A mural is a great way to add color to these often dark spaces.
This mural, by the way, was produced as a mirror image of the original image so the herons and egrets were flying toward the kitchen area. Yes -- murals can even direct traffic!!! :-)

Not every wall space requires covering. In this case, main hallway connecting front with back of ranch home needed a gallery type focal point that had a spotlight already present. I took a photo of fresh orchids, homeowner owned, mega-enlarged the photo, had professionally cut into 8 x 10's by the photo shop. Sale item frames: Presto!

The Classic design style (also referred to as Traditional) is very much alive and well in 2017.
Just about every designer has Classic in their repertoire as it still resonates with a lot of home buyers looking for a touch of elegance and rich details.
Look to the new Classic to be slightly tweaked to fit in with today’s busy and tech-heavy lifestyles. Modern amenities such as stainless, smart fridges, big- screen televisions and smart-home systems aren’t absent from these homes. Instead, technology is hidden behind ornate classically-detailed cabinets, armoires or artwork.
