Rain Garden Nursery LandscapeMakeoverDesignStaging
Scott Buley HTT&T, High Tech Turf & Trees. It's not everyday that we're asked to save a home from a Dragon. This home had a Serpentining Weeping Giant Sequoia "climbing" over it. And our client Loved this tree, as we grew too as well. To "share" their limited outdoor space with it, we designed and built a Garden Pergola beneath it. To save it's wet feet, we re-built the drainage system it stood in, naturalizing the site with our NaturPavR(sm) Xeripaver pervious pavers. Here we retained just enough moisture in "Puff's" new Rain Garden, by creating a new stream bed for it to inhabit. Everyone co-existed happily ever after in their shared Outdoor Entertainment area. All of this made for a very happy fairy-tale ending.

DDLA Design | Calgary
Located in the prestigious neighborhood of University Park, Texas, this Greek Revival residence is set on an creekside lot. A private courtyard is created in the rear garden and features herringbone brick walkways that frame a classical iron fountain element. The rear of the property transitions down to the lower lawn that backs up to a natural creek area.

The client's ceramic koi fish looks as if it is swimming within the dry creek bed. Platycodon grandiflorus 'Mariesii' picks up on the bluish tones of the slate chip and boulders.

Julie Moir Messervy Design Studio (JMMDS)
JMMDS created a new drive court, entry stairs, and herb terrace to complement a new addition to an old New Hampshire cape. We reoriented the axis of the vegetable garden toward a view and created a "turning point" for a handsome pot whose lines mimic the mountain peak beyond. A granite retaining wall along the back of the new addition makes space for a bocce court and lawn.
