Little did our homeowner know how much his inspiration for his master bathroom renovation might mean to him after the year of Covid 2020. Living in a land-locked state meant a lot of travel to partake in his love of scuba diving throughout the world. When thinking about remodeling his bath, it was only natural for him to want to bring one of his favorite island diving spots home. We were asked to create an elegant bathroom that captured the elements of the Caribbean with some of the colors and textures of the sand and the sea. The pallet fell into place with the sourcing of a natural quartzite slab for the countertop that included aqua and deep navy blues accented by coral and sand colors. Floating vanities in a sandy, bleached wood with an accent of louvered shutter doors give the space an open airy feeling. A sculpted tub with a wave pattern was set atop a bed of pebble stone and beneath a wall of bamboo stone tile. A tub ledge provides access for products. The large format floor and shower tile (24 x 48) we specified brings to mind the trademark creamy white sand-swept swirls of Caribbean beaches. The walk-in curbless shower boasts three shower heads with a rain head, standard shower head, and a handheld wand near the bench toped in natural quartzite. Pebble stone finishes the floor off with an authentic nod to the beaches for the feet.

Stuart Wade, Envision Web Sweet Carillon is located in the Cottage District of Carillon Beach village and is the perfect vacation spot for family and friends and sleeps 12-14. French doors from the media room leads to a partially covered 19’ x 19’ porch that overlooks the charming Carillon Beach village. Sweet Carillon is equipped with 5 TVs, 5 DVDs and wireless internet. Five spacious porches off the living room, media room and 3 of the 4 bedrooms overlook a state park on the west and the quaint village life of Carillon Beach on the east. Some porches offer gulf and lake views and are perfect for watching the magnificent sunsets, enjoying the soft chimes of the Carillon bells, or the night sounds from the wooded park. Carillon Beach village, with its parks, plazas, promenades, dune walkovers, and pavilions, is an example of the “New Urbanism” revival land-planning movement along Florida’s panhandle coast. The community blends innovative coastal architecture and urban-planning traditions of the past century with current advanced technologies. The market area, with shops, restaurants, jazz club and internet coffee café, is the social hub of Carillon Beach. A GOLF CART is provided for use in the village. The centerpiece of the 104-acre walking and biking community is the Carillon Bell Tower, a 35-bell carillon. The private, gated Carillon Beach is as much a park as it is a community. Backyard patio make-over. Building on existing elements (Palm trees) we removed a lot of outgrown and outdated material and freshened up the patio borders with colorful canna's, various bromeliads, Alocasia California, and a fresh layer of mulch and landscape pebbles.

Inspiration for a large tropical 3/4 porcelain tile and beige floor bathroom remodel in San Diego with furniture-like cabinets, blue cabinets, multicolored walls, an undermount sink, marble countertops and gray countertops

This unique 2.75 acre property, located on the Roosevelt Channel on Captiva Island, was transformed from a barren construction site into a tropical garden that would rival some botanical gardens. The homeowners are garden enthusiasts and collaborated closely with Bob Walsh and the landscape team to create a variety of lush landscape gardens including; a Tropical Flowering Tree Garden, Moonlight & Scent Garden, Citrus & Edible Garden, Specimen Palm Gardens, Tropical Shade Gardens, Butterfly Gardens, and Waterfall Gardens with lagoon pools for Koi fish. Outdoor living was of primary consideration as well. The Seminole Indian Chickee Hut overlooks a private Island Beach with hammocks to offer a retreat for entertaining and relaxation while a 42 foot circular Stone Labyrinth is a place for meditation and contemplation. Moon and accent landscape lighting allow the numerous pathways and gardens to be enjoyed well beyond sunset.
