From the start I should say that for various reasons this brick wall will not be painted over. The brick wall in the main living area is the longest uninterrupted wall in the room. There are two modern black leather couches and an 'eames' style chair in good condition. I plan to use the brick wall as a gallery for my favourite art prints - modern, impressionist/post impressionist. The room has little natural light due to orientation/ a wide verandah but has been improved by a skylight. The lighting all needs replacing. I favour a shade of white for the walls but don't want it to be too stark... and there are whites and whites... I'm not concerned about resale value as we are in a semi-rural area with suburbia approaching in the next few years and the land is worth more than the house.
