I like white in the bathroom everywhere except the floor. To me, white tiles on the floor show every little thing. What about a tile that looks like wood plank for the floor? Are you keeping the wainscoting?

A classic look - all white, with some black in the floor tile and marble countertop. Make the room a bit whimiscal, but still claassic and have fun with the accessories and paint color. As they grow older, the bones are still easy to work with.

That bathroom looks identical to the one I grew up in as a child except I had Blue instead of the Mint Green. I would remove the wood paneling and install a tile for easy clean up. If you want to keep with a traditional theme you could use the 4 x 8 white subway tile and introduce the blue glass accent tile. Their are stained blue glass type tile and I would suggest that type. The tile that looks like wood planks or a grey slate look porcelain tile would be easy to clean and not show the dirt. Good luck and have fun planning!
