Fritillaria - Rubra Maxima...when does it come up?

I planted a Fritillaria bulb at the end of Fall and am wondering if it was a dud, or I'm just impatient. My tulips have already started, the Hosta are pushing out of the ground...but no sign of that Fritillaria yet. Is it supposed to be already growing...or give it some time yet?

Hmmm - they are in full bloom here. And the tulips are nearly over, so I would have thought you would at least see foliage coming up.

I may be a bit early with questioning that bulb...I noticed the ground is starting to crack and bulge like something is pushing its way up where I planted that bulb :)

Maybe I'll see green soon...

My fritillaria (not rubra maxima) is blooming now in zone 7. I had early tulips up, my late tulip is up but not opened, and my hostas are about a week in. So I think you would see something very soon!

Yep, it's coming :). Got about 1/2 inch of vegetation showing. Now for some warm weather...in the 40's again this week
