zucchini blossoms

This morning I checked my Zucchini and found several of theses blossoms mixed in the plant on the ground . The plant looks healthy . I s this normal ? First time grower. I found the blossoms but see no small Zuccinni 's . I thought the small ones started forming with the blossom on and then the blossom fell off.
