My raspberries don't have the brown spots, but the insect chewing looks very familiar. Sprayed my raspberries with a combo of Immunox and Triazicide. Worked perfectly. The leaves of both my raspberries and blackberries are now perfect. Mrs. G

I think the cool, wet spring has not been kind, and your plants are having a little trouble finding their feet. Pull back the mulch, because slugs are chewing those holes, and you're getting a bit of fungal wilt from the leaves staying wet too long. Warmth and dry weather will perk them up.

In my experience, raspberries take longer to recover from transplanting compared to other brambles. Once established, they thrive.
