I also have a diffenbachia and the plants do not look alike other than their stems, even so then, the diffenbachia has a long thick stem where as this plant had lots of curvy skinny short stems with beautiful green leaves all over that made the plant look like a peace lilly at first glance.

Someone online posted pictures of their mystery plant which looks a lot like my own. shes looking to put a name to the plant because it was passed down to her by her mother who passed away and always thought it was called a prayer plant??

oh my I finally figured it out!!!!! haha after all this, lets see if anyone knows what it is. =) Ill give you a hint... its not a peace lily.

Your plant looks like mine that I have had for years. It's an Aglaonema, an aroid which grows white flowers/spaths like a peace lily does.
