Name That Plant!

6 southern california plants

Some of these are familiar, like the Melastomataceae and the three that looks like maybe it's a Eucalyptus, but I hope I can get a more positive ID here. Photos taken by friend, in inland Southern California

1. A hedge. The flowers almost look like Sedum flowers but they're not!

6 looks like some kind of hypericum.

3. Perhaps an Araucaria (Monkey Puzzle Tree comes to mind).

4. a Manihot.

5. Perhaps a type of Tibouchina.

4. Manihot it is. I don't think we can get a species from a photo like this.

5. I'm still looking

6. if it's Hypericum then it's pbb Hypericum mysorense. In the back of my mind I thought Hypericaceae, but the stamens in cluster of 3 made me think wait no... So H mysorense it is!

any ideas on 1 and 2? I could have sworn I've seen 1 in a nursery before.

could 1 be Euphorbiaceae? Jatropha has a vague resemblance, doesn't it?
