Is there a chemical smell? You may not be able to request a test to see if anything noxious is present in your soil sample, usually there is a list of particular things you ask them to look for. Check with your state Cooperative Extension Service, there may be an office near you. They are probably also on the internet, many states' Extension systems are.

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't smell any chemicals because it was done while I was away at work. I saw something being sprayed undernetah my fence because I had to have surveillance cameras installed as there had been continuing harrassment. So I know something was sprayed, as far as what it was I don't know and wasn't sure how to obtain a soil test
