Hi

I grew crimson cascade in zone 4-5. It did'nt do well for me at all. It never really grew very big, had a few flowers in its first year and thereafter for two years was really infrequent. Also it did have a lot of winter dieback. Finally it just died. The flowers are very pretty but I dont know if it is hardy for our climate.
Currently have William baffin - which I just adore. It has grown huge in just 2-3 years and is loaded with lovely pink flowers. Also for me it repeat blooms.

Thanks so much for your response. This is very helpful. I also have WB and its a great rose. Never suffers any winter dieback whatsover and is very healthy.
