Any recommendations for a dwarf stone fruit tree?

I bought a semi-dwarf peach for a container, but it never greened up. I'm looking for a replacement and found a few at Lowe's, but thought I'd ask if anyone has a glowing recommendation for a peach, nectarine, plum or apricot. Or anything other than citrus; I've got that covered. Unless you've got a thriving kumquat. ????

Bonanza Peach. They're fairly common at the Big Box stores.

Mmm - one of the best apricots I ever had was off of a friend's tree in Phoenix. It was heaven.
