I am not sure it is possible for you to obtain these varieties in California. The only place I know of that even has these varieties is the citrus research center at the University Of California. Even there they are under quarentine due to CTV.

Thanks guys, I did take a look at exotic Fruit Nursery. But they've gotten a lot of bad write up on Dave's Garden.

I tried CSU Riverside - they'll only release budwood or plants to other researchers.

Sad, we've got the climate for it in California and home gardeners can't get their hands on it.

FourWinds is a great source. I have ordered several trees from them and they are still doing great. The trees arrived with blooms and fruit,were about 3ft tall and very healthy. I had also ordered the 3 year old trees. Aaron is really helpful if you have any questions about anything citrus related. I did not see any Aussies for sale though.

I stand corrected. The Australian Finger Lime is listed. I was looking on the varieties page. I was not looking on the place an order page as I was not planning on ordering at this time. I suppose I just might now.

I just ordered one of these from 4 winds. I haven't ordered from them before but have heard good things, so I expect alot lol! I will let you know how it turns out.

I got mine yesterday. It looks great and larger than I thought. They sure are thorny, kind of like an shrub rose but more delicate branches. They sent it much faster than I thought they would. I will definitely order from them again!

Does anyone know what variety these things are? I read that there are green, yellow, pink, and red fingerlimes. I wonder which one we have lol... I hope it is the red one let me know if anyone finds out.

Four winds says that the fingerlimes are deep green. I emailed them and they responded immediately. What a nice company.

UCR does release to individuals. It's just that the professionals get served first. (Nurserymen, growers, etc) #1 Email them and get on the list
#2 Ask them to include your request on the budwood release for June.

They have had a citrus halimii in their collection since 1985 and 1971

They also have a Eremocitrus glauca hybrid in the collection since 1930. Not sure if this is the same...
