Beautiful conifer for winter time contrast. I love the golden conifers. This one will really make a statement as it doubles in size.

I love the really loose form and the wonderful yellow color. Very nice. It looks like it burned it's first few years of life and finally grew out of that?

For anybody unfamiliar, no name was mentioned, but was alluded to... this is:
Pinus virginiana 'Wate's Golden'

ken, yours looks like mine. I guess it should -- it's presumably a clone! And its irregular form makes a mild mockery (and a nice contrast) of the symmetrical spruces. 'Course it won't do well w/the spruce competition.
