Norfolk Island Pine

Help! My Norfolk Island Pine tipped over the other day. I didn't see it happen - maybe the cat ran into it, but it just tipped over from the base of the plant, not the whole pot. It is about three feet tall, maybe 7 years old, and has always seemed pretty healthy (right now it even has a little new growth on top) but the fact that it just tipped over like that makes me think there are hardly any roots! The pot it's in is about 12 to 18 inches tall and about 12 to 18 inches wide. Right now I have just staked it back into the pot and watered it, but it would totally fall down if I took the stake back out. What can I do? I think I repotted it a year or two ago. Thank you!
