No, it's not a Picea sitchensis because they've prickly needles which this one have not.
Picea sitchensis does also have a 2 colour effect...

I got it...this cultivar is 'Hillside'.

Edwin, as the resident id'er would you agree?

I still think is a Picea glauca cultivar because of it's typical needles, needle colour and buds.

However, I found a pic on the internet of a Picea pungens 'Hillside' which is quite simular to your plant.
I put this pic at the link.
This pic doesn't show me that this is a Picea pungens...
It would be interested to read Stephen's and Clement's comment about my thoughts...

Btw Will, how did you come to your conclusion, did you found an old tag?

I looked at all the other Picea pungens and glauca cultivars that the vendor had and did googles searches to get a match. I then called them and they said it could possibly be 'Hillside' as that is another plant they grafted at the same time as 'Montgomery'. They ruled out 'Cecilia' since they haven't grafted it...but didn't rule out a glauca cultivar.

Thanks for your help to get a name on this little guy.

Furthur investigation revaeled that my friend Bob Fincham also have this plant under Picea glauca 'Hillside'.
He's a well known U.S. conifer specialist and he knows what he's talking about...

Yep, it does have all the characteristics of a Picea glauca cultivar and not of a Picea pungens cultivar...

I'm rolling with it then!
