bulbs from Bluestone?

I got my fall Bluestone catalog this week, and finally allowed myself to look yesterday. ;) Especially at the bulbs. And started drooling.

Has anyone ordered bulbs from Bluestone? How is their quality? I've gotten most of mine from Brent and Becky's, fwiw - but there are some good prices at Bluestone, and a few varieties that B&B don't carry. Like, the Tiritomba daffodil - I think that is what first captured my eye!

I do have a birthday coming up... ;)

And after looking in the bulb forum, I'm now browsing the John Scheeper website. I may be in trouble...must make lots o money! ;)

Haven't grown bulbs from Bluestone, but if they are comparable to their plants, they are great!

I placed my first fall order (there will be others I am sure!) with Bluestone last weekend. I have gotten bulbs from them before and had no issues. I have been ordering from them for several years and everything from plants to bulbs have done well in my garden. Any losses and there have been a couple; were entirely the gardener's fault!

You might also want to check out Old House Gardens. They have a wonderful selection of bulbs most of which are antiques that you can't find anywhere else. I have been very happy with my orders from them and the customer service is wonderful.

I get bulbs from Scheepers, Brent and Becky, The Lily Garden, B and D's lilies, and Colorblends and Tulip World. Have to reallllly make lots of money.
