Full StoryHi, lately I've become interested on growing a winter squash. I really want seeds of potimarron, but upon researching this further, I've found conflicting info on the web as to whether this is also the uchiki kuri. To make matters more confusing, the uchiki kuri ALSO has more than one name: red kuri, hokkaido orange, to name a few I've seen. Does anyone know?
Also, has anyone eaten one of these as a summer squash, while they are green? How would you describe the taste? I have only grown summer squash, all kinds, shapes and colors.
Thanks!
