I think the name of the color is "Barbie Flesh". LOL! That's what it reminds me of.

I think Crayola dropped the "flesh" color years ago. Isn't it amazing how far things have come in the last 30 years?

A crayon called flesh seems so ridculous now.

So, what color would we choose to color the skin of a person these days???

I'm very stressed, now, knowing that I don't have a clear and obvious option anymore!!!!
What if, as I age, I get put in a nursing home, and the activity of the day is to color a picture of,
oh, say "Cinderella" in a coloring book???? Won't I already be confused enough as it is??
How disturbing will that be, to have to find a color that would be marked anything but "flesh"
to do the job!!!

Now, now Janice...you're an artist, you can blend pink, white and a light yellow to come up with a flesh tone. But I think the background looks like a soft blush. One that reminds me of one of my daylilies, "Fairytale Pink".

Janice - there is no one color of flesh - just like there is no one color of hosta. They are all part of the human race or genus hosta - and they are all apealing.

That is true, Teresa, and I have a great appreciation for all "flesh" tones! It was a joke!!!!

Our one daughter is married to a wonderful, godly "mixed" guy, with our blessings!
No "races" but one--the "human race" in our book, and that as a "fact"!

It was a feeble attempt to be funny--after a long day! I can't guarantee that my brain will be able to keep track
of all the latest "political correctnesses" we are dealt these days, but I will try, for the most part! :o)
