Most probably, not this coming year(2014) but the next season(2015) they will go for seed.

Another thing is how you harvest things like parsley. If you leave them alone , they can go to seed sooner.

Congratulations on your parsley forest! Now, you'll have more parsley than ever before. I let mine do that & we finally had enough parsley after years of growing it in pots. It tastes great even from the freezer! Once the weather warms in spring you'll see more growth. Parsley is tough!

In our raised beds I just planted around it or moved a few out of the way. Lettuces, kale & broccoli did fine around it.

I harvested just the outer leaves with scissors or tugged stems away from the plant, which kept more space available for the other plants.

To move parsley to another location once the seed is ripe, just clip the seed heads or the entire seed stalks then lay them where you want parsley to grow. The seeds fall & germinate in late summer/early fall. Mark the spot, so someone doesn't move your stems. The stems protect the tiny seedlings until spring. Be patient, they won't grow until the weather is 50 degrees or so.

On 2nd year plants I've even clipped the entire plant except for a few leaves to delay maturity. You only need to let one plant go to seed for the next year's crop.
