What makes this the best?? Love aroids and EE in particular but tend to like the black forms best or maybe the pinks yellows blues bicolored veined ,aquatic terrestrial etc etc. lol Main complaint is there are WAY more types than I have room for lol gary

Does it smell like Pina Coladas? That would probably be enough to rank it the best in my book. :)

That is actually Alocasia macrorrhizos 'Variegata'.

But it is a better elephant ear, gets larger than Colocasia.

My supplier lists it as Colocasia esculenta "elipaio". In binging your name for the plant I came up with several pics of the more upright form which I also have.

I do see other sources listing Colocasia esculenta "elipaio" as the "milky way" one. I have that one, too, (as shown in those pics) but mine tends to be much more yellowish than the more whitish pics on line. When this one bloomed the scent was heavenly.

Besides all that, it is a showstopper of a plant. Smaller (in a pot), sends out lots of pups and they seem to hold the variegation for the most part.
