Plant ID needed

Could someone please ID this plant? It has deep purple berries. I know it is NOT a blueberry, WHAT is it?

Poke is a nasty weed.

I spend many hours digging these up and eliminating them from my pastures.

Not a good one to keep as an ornamental.
