What part of Ontario are you located? Your hosta bed progression photos seem to match the growth of mine.

I've bought a few of mine up near your way at Handlebar Hosta Farms on Wagg Rd and Greenbank Garden Center On Hwys 12 and 47.

Eye Catcher is much the same. It turns green, with great substance and a tidy small-medium size, easy to find room for it.

Zebra Stripes is definitely a spring phenomenon. It turns green via the veins first, then it spreads from the veins to the whole leaf. I just got it a month ago, and it is still white, which is interesting. I've kept it in good morning sun. I feel like I am riding the razor's edge keeping this one happy and ALIVE.

Mango Salsa is getting afternoon sun but all day light, with a little bit of parchment color on a few leaves. It is staying gold, however, when I move it to more shade, I expect it will green up.

Paradise Island is great looking gold or green later in the year.

Bibb Lettuce is the most tender looking of early spring yellows. It is a Stuart Asch hybrid bought direct from him in 2012 when he moved. It turns green too.

White Elephant is a white leaf thin green margin which turns all green as the season progresses. It came from Solberg.
