Liberty and Sagae -- Great Combo!

I've put Liberty and Sagae in a new section of garden. The combo is gorgeous. They're exactly the same colors, but Liberty has that huge edge, and Sagae, the narrow one. I would have posted a photo, but it doesn't do it justice because I've planted them 5 feet apart to give both of them room to spread. If you're looking for a great combo, try it. Nance

shadara -- it's a Christmas fern that I dug out of my woods. I also dug New York from the woods and Ostrich ferns from an abandoned garden. The Ostrich ferns form the back border of this new garden. the small plants beyond and to the left of Sagae are immature native foam flower. They'll bloom next May-June. To the right of Sagae is a hydrangea. You view this garden when you're standing on the dam that forms a pond. The ravine at the far left of the photo is the overflow from the pond.

LOVE pics!!!! :o)

I just received an ebay 'buy it now', actually four 'buy it now's' and one of them is a very
nice eye of 'Majesty'! Right now, it looks ALOT like 'Liberty', which I have two plantings of.
I figure anything that looks like 'Liberty' is a winner and because of your suggestion, in the Fall
(after I'm pretty sure it's not hiding nematodes) I will plant it near my barrel of 'Sagae'!

I can't wait to recommend this ebay seller, but, because of past experience (not this person) I have to make
sure the plant will be healthy throughout the summer, first!! :o) REALLY nice plants, and I found him through
another of our hosta buddies here!!

What a beautiful setting. Hmmmm. Right now I have my Liberty and Sagae in holding beds till my new beds are completed. Maybe they should be together, hadn't thought of them as a couple before. :-)

Janice, congrats on your new babies. Majesty is on my list, but probably not till next year. Let us know how these babies do. A good source is always (like I need another place to spend my money, LOL) appreciated.
