I spent the last 3 weeks in northern OH with family and found it similar to what you are seeing by the time I left. It is zone 6, and almost a month ahead of what is expected, but because Lake Erie never got that cold, I have a feeling that they are in for a continued warm spring. Here in NH we are ahead of the usual, but not so far advanced as you, though also 3 weeks ahead of the expected, like you. We have willow, red maple and aspen (AKA popple) blooming along with early bulbs, a few daffodils and the forsythia just starting. I actually saw a star magnolia about half open yesterday. My vernal witch hazels are still blooming, but my reticularted irises have had their shortest season ever due to the heat.

My garden is officially 3 weeks early. My Kolkwitzia shrub always blooms on June 1st and it is just starting to bloom now, a full 3 weeks early. Not able to get my tomato plants in any earlier though.
