I am having a really difficult time propagating hardy kiwis. I have tried layering, but the branch died below the ground. I tried air-layering but none of the five attempts rooted. I tried taking 8-inch cuttings and clipping most leaves, cuting other leaves in half and applying root harmone and placing in a good potting soil and keeping moist, but all 6 attempts failed. At this time of the year, do I have another option? I would appreciate advice from an experienced gardner.
