Have you tried on-line mail order?

That would be ideal but I haven't found it that way either. Any suggestions?

Pender Nursery in Garner, NC lists 2 species of Evergreen Barberry, Berberis julianae & Berberis x gladwynensis 'William Penn' for sale.

Here it is, fragrant fowers today in Maryland. This is in my bank parking lot. Seems to me to be a really tough, effective barrier plant. Check out those thorns.

Do the birds spread them like the other Asian barberries? If they do it gets marked off the list.
