No photo. If you do an edit when you preview, you have to insert the picture link again. Being indoors and getting sun through the window could be the problem. I suggest you move it away from the window. I think it will do fine indoors after a transition (which could make it lose leaves). But a pic would be helpful, so we can see what kind it is. I have one outside in sunlight that's doing fine, but a lot don't do well in sun.

It doesn't look like any Calathea I've got. But doing a search there's a similar looking one called "Green Ice". How much water are you giving it? It looks like you may have it too wet.

Thanks tropicbreezent. I also came across 'green ice' but I don't think it is the same - what I read is that 'green ice' is a small plant, two to three feet tall. Ours is already taller than I am. Ours doesn't seem to be a flowering plant.

Thanks for the suggestion about too much water. I have wondered this also, though I've only watered it two or so times a week when the soil starts to dry out. Perhaps something to keep an eye on.
