Best places for orchids in Northern VA, DC, or MD?

Hi all,

I'm from NJ and will be driving down to the DC/Alexandria, VA area at the end of June. Can you recommend some places to go to for a large selection of cheap orchids? (Besides HD and Lowe's!) We'll be driving south through MD to Alexandria, VA if that helps. Unfortunately, we won't have too much time to deviate from our course. TIA!

I like Al's Orchid Greenhouse (www.orchidexchange.com)in Leesburg, VA-not cheap, but high quality plants. Is there anywhere that orchids are cheap-besides FL & HI?

haha. yeah. well... i've been buying them here in NJ at big box stores (HD and Lowe's... they've been healthy and only $9-$25) But I like to look when I travel in order to expand my collection.
