Help with an ID.

This weed pops up in the garden in full sun areas and is quite prolific. To me it seems like some sort of wild sedum or some type of semi-succulent plant because the leaves tend to be a little plump. The leaves are about 1/4in wide and 1/2in long. The plant in the pictures was uprooted and comes up quite easy.

Here is a picture of the small flowers it gets.

It's Portulaca oleracea, common purslane.

A variety of spurge.

I'll take that back and go with purslane.

Put it into a salad. It is very nourishing.

There are other varieties that have an excellent flower. It is not interesting that it seems very happy in harsh, dry, and hot conditions?
