Yes, her hubby wrote an update...the original surgery went very well...but she was in alot of pain during recovery ...turns out a more serious problem occured & she needed 'emergency surgery' ...her hubby wrote yesterday: "On the calender, she's been in ICU for 3 days,(Thursday, Friday, Saturday) but in reality, as I type this, this 2nd surgery was less than 48 hours ago."

He said she was better today (last night) than the day before...it will take a long road of recovery. So keep those good thoughts & prayers coming, Holiday-ers. Jeanne S.

Jeanne, thank you for the update. I am so sad to hear she's having a rough time. Sending prayers that the worst is behind her, and she'll be out of the terrible pain soon.

Its even more sad she is having this all hit right at Christmas and she won't be able to enjoy it. The "long recovery" sounds rough too. :o(

Tom shared wonderful news today ... it will be a long recovery but the doctor said, ""We knew she was going to have a rough time of it, as you saw yesterday, but we've turned the corner now. It's not a sharp corner, however, it's more like a gradual sweeping corner. Progress will be slow for a little while."

Tom also said she is off the breathing tube this morn & no complications now.
