I'm not a layout expert, but I'm bumping this so those who are might respond.

Suggestions?

too many pantry doors on the sinkwall and too many narrow cabs on range wall for my taste.I would divide pantrys-place one at each outside end location of each wall. The microwave and toaster oven are behind pantry doors?? I think I'd rather have microwave as part of cabinetry rather than behind doors. toaster ovens generate hi heat-better to rest it on the counter so you can use it to it's full capacity-they can actually be used as a small baking appliance,but needs space around it when heated up. Pull it forward on counter when using -easy to place things in and out and "watch".....when done-push it to back part of counter.You have 69 in of pantry....too much-go ahead and plug in island cabinetry which can include drawers and base roll out pantrys....try to scale back that 69 in of pantry.

Yes, in the original drawing, there is simply not enough room between fridge and range. For me, that would be a cause to remodel, let alone to plan to put it into a new build!
