I'm reaching here, but what is your house water pressure?

I don't know, but can find out. What is the significance? They did have to increase the water line capacity into our house during the remodel. I don't know if that would affect the pressure.

I have a Toto and they are loud just like you say, and that is normal. They move allot of water in a hurry and that tends to make them noisy. You will get used to it I would rather have a noisy toilet then a noisy plunger!!!! I think TOTO is the best toilet made you will like if you give it some time.

I would be concerned all they did was adjuct the pressure at the regulator. Or took it out altogether. Buy a pressure gage from Home D. Hook it to your hose and the pressure should be 60. If it is more than that you MUST have it reduced.

I don't get your point about the pressure, aren't they flushing just from the water in the tank not water from the water line?

Some toilets are designed to have the strongest possible water pressure, even though it migt not need that much. The Flush Valves in the market follow the same principle.

So how to Quiet Your Toilet without spending a lot of money? Well... there is a new valve called The Toilet Zilencer, which allows you to control very easily your toilet water pressure, to meet your confort level, so you still have a good flush but the noise is kept under control.

I have two of these valves working in my loud toilets, and now they are very quiet, and can use them at night without any problem.
