Now you can post a picture directly from your computer. I tried it last night and it works!

It works, it works! But if you correct the text, you have to reattach the picture file.

That's amazing. Now I won't have to fool around with Photobucket which can sometimes be aggravating because they keep moving things around.

    Thanks for the tip.

Thanks Linda!!! I didn't notice it, but it makes me so happy! Photobucket can be annoying and I think members will post more pics now that it is easier.

here's what that block becomes in one quilt I'm thinking of making.
(I wish they'd allow us to post more than one picture)

This photo feature will make a world of difference to our community. I think lots of people avoid posting pictures because of all the hoops we had to jump through. Making it easier will encourage more to try. Thanks for all your postings. It's fun to see.

Just trying out the photo thingy. Cool. I'm sure we'll see more pics now that we don't have to put things in Photobucket first. Thanks.

I think it's a great new feature, but I don't see a way to post more than 1 pic. Does anyone know if you can post more than 1 pic with this new feature, and how?

Post a follow-up to your initial post for showing more pictures.

Thought I would test this too! This is a QOV that my neighborhood quilt group made. This is pre-border and binding.

    One thing to consider:
If you post a picture using this feature you have no way to delete it. If you post using Photobucket or Picasa, then decide you don't want the picture here, all you have to do is move or delete the picture from Photobucket or Picasa and it disappears here. Or if you want to change the size of it, you can do that. But if you've used the new feature to add it then you are stuck with it.
