polishing granite for a deep shine

Parsondiy

I'm recycling a 2' X 4' slab of granite taken off the front of a bank building. I've polished it to 6000 grit with wet diamond pads and dry buffed it with a black buffer pad. Between 800 grit and 1500, I applied a "densifier" supplied by granite city. The granite has some shine, but not the deep shine I've seen on professionally polished countertops. There is also a light haze when you get your eyes almost on the same level as the surface. The granite is dark, but I have no clue what kind it is. I'm thankful for any guidance on how to get the deep shine and no haze.
