It has been an ordeal....but worth it.

My pantry doors starting to get chips right away and I was freaking out. I re-traced my steps and realized I forgot to sand them. So I had to take them down and do them all over again! Thank God it was just the pantry and not the whole kitchen!

You tease! Was psyched to see your new cabs and you tricked me... sigh... guess we all have to wait for the big reveal ;)

BaileyandBella, I've seen a lot of your posts, from deciding which paint/equipment to use, to sagging paint, and the time it's taken you. I know this has been a trial for you, so I'm glad you're happy with the final product. I can't wait to see how they turned out!

BTW, I was wondering, how much Cabinet Coat (quarts/gallons) did you use for your cabinets? I've gone back and forth on what to use for mine, but of all the paints I've used, CC has given me the smoothest "from the factory finish" to use their words. I'm planning to have a color mixed, but I want to be sure I have all I need and some extra to boot.

I bought one gallon. I painted each cab with 2 coats and I still have 1/2 a gallon leftover.

It really does leave an awesome finish, so smooth!

Congratulations! And selfishly nice to hear how well the CC is working : ). Have fun (I hope) with the last bits!
