It continues to be an excellent performer here. I hope it does very well for you shopshops. It was slow to get going as I remember, but every year it has improved and is one of the stars of my garden.

Hmmm... I don't even see it listed on RVR's website at all. Did they remove it? I don't need it myself, but if mine ever dies, I'd like to be able to replace it and know where to find it.

I have two plants of it coming along but like HoovB says they're slow to establish. I also was hooked by her plant pictures. Blooms are bigger than I expected and very pretty.

I checked the hmf pictures. Most do have more orange and pink in them and come in clusters. Mine has only had a few blooms so far, but I did see some on hmf that were similar to mine. I will be keeping an eye on this spring to see what it does. Whatever I have , I like it, but I do so much want Brass Band .

Ooh, I have wanted this rose since Hoov posted hers. Shopping is a killer for me if I order from them.

Erasmus, if your rose is a small own-root I suppose it might not look totally true with the first few blooms. I know some of my little own-roots I got from Cliff a few yrs ago did not bloom true til the plants got bigger. But your bloom doesn't have the ruffled form, and the pointy tips on the petal edges are not typical of BB. Hopefully in the subsequent bloomings if it is BB, it will start looking more like it. I guess it'll just be a waiting game.

I called Rogue Valley & while they are taking requests they don't actually have them in stock. I recently placed a request at Christianson's Nursery in WA state at 360-466-3821. They said they'd let me know if they get them in January 2019.
