I don't have much luck with London planetrees thus mine died, but would be a spectacular tree if you can grow it.
There is (possibly was) one at Rarefind in NJ. Borderline spectacular - certainly would standout compared to typical plane trees. I've never been there at the time of year to know its summer foliage condition, though.
