Need help with decorating decision

I have a great room where the dining table and chairs are across the room from the sliding glass windows. Is it ok to decorate the drapery on the sliding glass windows the same as the dining room chairs. It would be separated by a sectional and coffee table and two chairs. Thank you so much!

It would be ok to do that, but I think it would be much more interesting visually if you found a fabric that complimented the drape fabric rather than the same fabric.
