Should the house and the barns/buildings around the house match??

In January our home burned. We had matched the buildings around the house to its roof and siding. We live on 14 acres with our business in the front, and two large barns in the back. We went with a tan siding (Vermont Maple Double 4 wood grain look) and a red (Terra Cotta) Dimensional shingle. I am thinking I would like to change the color of the house because we have the opportunity to do so now. How important is it to match the house to the outbuildings?? I am incredibly OCD so I am worried if I didn't match them it would drive me insane....but then again I would like to design something different! HELP ME!! :)

we have a house, a 2 car garage not attached but across a paved area, and a 1 bay barn/garage in the rear of the house. the house and 2 car garage are yellow, the smaller barn in the rear is a blue grey. i think it looks fab.
