Definitely the cost always counts but application may change depending on whether it is a family home or future income property.

The quality of this job looks really poor. I would not hire you to be honest about it.

I don't mind the look of the shakes but why copper? The roof would have to be a super cool feature (I would love it if that were always the case) in order for me to want to call attention to the roof valley... and even then I'm not sure I'd want to. Do you have a dark grey flashing option to match the tiles? Also, are there ridge vents or caps over those exposed ridges? Had they just not been installed when you took the photo? Thanks -Stephanie

Enviroshake is considered to be a lifetime product and by installing copper you are ensuring there wouldn't be any breakdown in any metal flashing.

Also some clients prefer aesthetic appeal to their roof which copper provides during the entire cycle of oxidization.

Long answer short yes there are multiple shades of grey that can be used and the pictures were taken during the production of the project.
