Help with upstairs bedroom/bathroom layout

We are in the design phase of a new home and I am having trouble with the layout of the two upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. I do not have any issues with Bedroom #3, but I do not like the bedroom/bathroom layout of Bedroom #4. I want to eliminate the closet in Bedroom #4 and solely utilize the closet bathroom, but it is small and would be hard to access the half behind the wall. I think the draftsman just stuck the extra closet in the bathroom because there was extra space. I am open to modifying or eliminating the desk outside of the two bedrooms if it would help the situation. There is a lot of space in bath #4 from the door to the shower, but we may be putting in a laundry chute in that space. Does anyone have any suggestions to help the layout?

Sounds like a good idea. Now, consider one sink instead of two. They will almost never be in there at the same time, and even if they are they'll be bumping elbows as they brush teeth and mousse hair. But they do each need their own storage space for orthodontia and "health and beauty aids". So one sink gives them more counterspace and more drawer storage, one whole bank each.

Would you have a window? Even a high window for privacy over the toilet would still bring in natural light.

in bedroom 3, consider either taking the closet to the wall, or swapping the bookshelf/desk space to the other side. I worry that tucked in the corner a desk will become a dumping ground, and bookshelves would be tucked deep, not so conducive to book-browsing.

I would not have a clothes closet accessible through a bathroom.

The bedroom 4 closet could be a foot shallower with double doors and be better as a reach-in than a wak-in. That would buy a little more room in the bedroom. If the bathroom were the same width as the other, that would give the bedroom more space, too. Why not eliminate the closet and lengthen the vanity?

Who is going to use the desk at the top of the stairs? I wouldn't want to work there with my back to the stairs. A bookcase would be handy, though.

I'm not sure anyone will use the desk. Our draftsman just placed it there and it could either be converted to storage or eliminated if I could find a way to utilize the space for the bathrooms.

Who will be living in those bedrooms? Are both bathrooms absolutely necessary? I'd be very tempted to eliminate the desk (that you didn't even ask for!), put in one bathroom accessible from the hall, and use some of that extra bathroom space for closets in both bedrooms.

I have decided to eliminate the two bedroom bathrooms and create one hall bath instead which opens up both bedrooms.
