Thank you for your feedback. These pictures were the in progress photos. We had a very small budget to get this house ready to sell. We managed to repaint and remove and replace all the flooring throughout this house for less thank 6k. The walls were painted a soft grey and the reason we went lighter on the fireplace was due to the room being very small and having very little natural light. By painting the lighter colors the room looked much bigger and airy which was the feeling we were going for. Within hours of the home being listed we had multiple over asking price offers.

I like the difference in the brick. The before reminds me of the Brady Bunch house. I would love to see the finished room with walls painted.
