Hello trying to decide whether to go with stone or wood face on the fireplace. It is 19 ' floor to ceiling with a hearth and a mantel

we are going to go up to the ceiling with the material we choose so it will make a big statement therefore the pressure is on not to choose wrong

we have dark wood floors and white trim

the fireplace is in the middle of the great room with windows on either side

If we go with woood do we pick a dark stain or go with the same white as the trim

what do you guys think we need to decide within five days
