look over everything else,if you dont see any thing else that is plobabillty your tbl.the shaft has to set right and spin at full speed or the motor will over heat

I think that this is a good place to ask your question, but I don't have your type of pump and don't really understand what part appears to be coming loose. I assume that there may be an exploded parts view somewhere. Perhaps you could show it here with either a part number noted or a description of an area of the drawing indicated so that someone else could help you.

Thanks guys for your help. I am attaching a picture showing some of the concerns.

Also, there under the silver cyliner and the black plate (lower part of the picuture), the yellowish ring-shaped seal (that is visible from the top) is almost all gone. In addition, the white disk below is kind of loose (You can see the white disk on the top that is losing some glue, there is another one below.)

The black plate is the impeller.

Another thing to check is to be sure you are getting good voltage. It's possible to get overheating if you happen to lose power through the use of a long or light extension cord.

I had an overheating problem with one of my Sequence pumps. The fan was slipping on the shaft and not cooling the motor properly. Loctite used to make a retaining compound for just such a problem, but I'm not sure they still do.
